Questions? We got you.
What is YardStubs?
YardStubs is event ticketing for homecomings, day parties, tailgates, brunches, galas, festivals, and the culture's biggest weekends. Listing events is free, and guests pay $0 in platform fees.
Does YardStubs charge ticket fees?
No. Guests pay $0 in platform or service fees, and organizers pay no per-ticket fees. Listing an event is free, always.
How does YardStubs make money if there are no fees?
Selling tickets on YardStubs is free. We earn from advanced marketing tools, custom branding, and other optional services organizers can choose.
What do guests pay at checkout?
The ticket price set by the organizer, plus card processing, which shows up front on its own line and goes to the payment processor, not to YardStubs.
Do guests need an account to buy tickets?
No. Guest checkout takes no account. Tickets arrive by email with a QR code.
How do organizers get paid?
Payouts go to your own Stripe account, 1 business day after your event ends, once funds clear.
Can I split ticket revenue with co-hosts?
Yes. Set each co-host's split when you create the event, and YardStubs pays everyone their share automatically. Splits lock once the first ticket sells.
How do refunds work?
Each organizer sets their own refund window, and organizers respond to refund requests within 5 business days. There are no refunds after doors open. If an event is cancelled, every guest is refunded in full.
Who owns the guest list?
Organizers own their audience. Guests can see how their information is used, and opt out, in our Privacy Policy.
Who started YardStubs?
YardStubs was founded in 2021 by North Carolina A&T alumni Porsche Farr and Cremel Burney, and relaunched in 2026 to actually solve the friction they saw in the ticketing industry. Meet the founders.
